Cappie

A native macOS capture card application designed to record USB Video Capture devices. The goal of this project is to provide a simple and easy interface for viewing video devices. Emphesis on the simple and easy. While some basic streaming will be implimented at some point in the future. It will not be a full fledged streaming or video recording platform. For those purposes, you should check out the software by the name of OBS or Open Broadcasting Software.

Videos are recorded in the .mp4 format using the default codecs listed below.

Default Codecs:

Video: h264 - 1080p, 30/60 FPS

Audio: AAC - 48hz
